Pausy is a desktop application that reminds you to take breaks. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the app and this website. The short version: the app collects nothing, and the website collects as little as a website can.
Pausy does not have user accounts, analytics, crash reporting or advertising. It does not connect to the internet except for the two cases below.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you buy a subscription, Lemon Squeezy collects your email address and payment details and handles invoices, taxes and refunds. We receive your email address and order details so we can provide support. We never see your card number. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your data is described in their privacy policy.
The website is static. It does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for security and debugging; these are kept for a limited time and not used to identify you.
Fonts and images are served from our own server. The website makes no requests to third parties.
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the date and which form you used, on our own server. We use it only to tell you when Pausy launches, and we don't share it with anyone. To be removed, write to hello@pausyapp.com.
If you write to us, we keep the conversation to be able to help you. We do not add you to any mailing list without asking.
Because we hold almost no data, there is usually nothing to export or delete beyond your order record at Lemon Squeezy and our support emails. If you'd like either removed, write to hello@pausyapp.com and we'll take care of it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and note the change on this page.
